Operation Christmas Child is a great way for your child to think beyond herself and her community. Last year, the whole troop participated sending 8 stuffed shoeboxes to children across the globe. Unfortunately timing is not on our side this year and we will not be stuffing boxes at our meeting. But you can still participate. If your child would like to earn a patch for participating in Operation Christmas Child, bring the stuffed box to me along with the $7 shipping fee between Nov. 15th-Nov. 18th. Please specify whether it's meant for a girl or boy. Call me for time and directions.
